Bee Sting Remedy

"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better."
- Albert Einstein

Bee on Dahlia
Bee loving the dahlia.

Stung by a bee?  This is all you need to make the pain and swelling go away, fast:

Grind up the lavender in a mortar and pestle (or in-between your palms).  Mix it in with a little bit of honey.  Apply mixture to the bee sting.  Cover with a band aid.  The pain starts going away almost instantly.  Leave the band aid on as long as possible.

I don't have the slightest idea how or why this works.  All I know is, without a doubt, it works, even on bumblebee stings.  Whenever I find myself around someone who just got stung by a bee, I happily make them this mixture and despite everybody's extreme initial skepticism, it has worked for every single person so far!

It is funny that bees produce a substance that will heal the very pain they inflict.  Perhaps it's their own way of saying:  We didn't want to sting you, but you made us so here's a little something to help you heal.

Nature always provides its own solution, you just have to realize it.
